From the top it reads Edinburgh Cafe, Prince Edward Road 210 (by railway bridge), phone number, Christmas Big Dinner, and cost at $5.90 per person for the 10-course meal including liquid goodies . Given the printing style, the cost and location, I estimate the photo was taken in the late 1950s.
It appears the site is still occupied by a pre-war shop house. The photo shows two columns closer together indicating a staircase in between them. Since this city block in the Flower Market is a mix of pre-war shop houses and redeveloped building, I cannot ascertain cafe's building remains standing today, though I have done a Google walk and looked up in GeoInfo Map.
All corrections welcome. OldTimer
