Address: Only street name is available. The Cinema Treasures street photo places the site on the east side of Yen Chow Street at the corner with Fuk Wa Street, Sham Shui Po, Kowloon, Hong Kong. Its location marker, however, is several blocks to the south at Yu Chau Street. Given Castle Peak Road had more traffic than Lai Chi Kok Road in that period, I consider Fuk Wa Street was more likely the site of the theatre, where the current McDonald's operates.
Sham Shui Po Theatre started operating on July 25, 1941, and was permanently shut down on December 8, 1941 as WWII was edging closer to Hong Kong.
