Ruby Theatre operated during the period May 16, 1964 - March 27, 1994. Information contained in one of the sources below talks about it having eight washrooms with huge make-up mirrors in ladies rooms. I don't know if this is common for theatres this size - six prices starting with front stall 70 cents, middle stall $1.20, back stall $1.70, special 優等 $2.00, super 超等 $2.40, and premium 特等 $3.00. For perspective, 70 cents was enough to buy you a bowl of wonton noodle soup at a dai pai dong in 1964.
