Paramount Theatre on Shan Tung Street operated during the period April 16, 1954 - December 1, 1972. It was located in perhaps the most commercial and densely populated Kowloon area at that time. Grandma was living a block away, and here, a neighbour and I watched the movie "River of No Return" starring Robert Mitchum and Marilyn Monroe. The old man always remembers his first date.
