Had several friends in the Norwegian community during the Japanese occupation, among them Haakon Sareussen. In the early period of the occupation, Nemazee offered housing to Sareussen, Guttorm Stensen and Hilmar Helgesen.

Might have had a part in getting parcels to Americans into Stanley Internment Camp.

I'd seen a a burial in Hong Kong's Muslim cemetery for Mohamed Mehdi Nemazee at https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/234417159/mohamed-mehdi-nemazee and thought it might refer to the same person shown on this page.

But Emily Hahn, writing in China To Me, makes it clear that they were two different people:

This morning a few Norwegian captains, Nemazee himself, and Mehdi, a poor relation of his, all went downtown with us.
