Kowloon City Theatre (九龍城戲院) opened for business in December 1993 with 2 screens each having a seating capacity of 402 (total 804). On February 19, 1996 it was renamed UA Kowloon City (UA九龍城) with a total seating capacity of 800. Starting in 1998, the time of the relocation of Kai Tak Airport, business began to fall and the UA operation ended soon after. In 2005, attempt was made to revive the theatre using its original name Kowloon City Theatre but lack of business ultimately led to its closing in 2006. The site is now Kowloon City Plaza. One source listed below has a photo of the theatre's exterior.

Re: Kowloon City Theatre
Hi There,
I vaguely remember the cinemas were inside the KCP complex but since its closure had been converted to shops. The entrance to the cinema, if I remember correctly, seemed to be on the western side of the complex, along Carpenter Road.
