Apollo Theatre
I think the marker for this is wrong. I believe the cinema was sited on the east corner of Castle Peak Road and Tonkin Street. The building that currently stands on the site is the Apollo Building so I am assuming it was named after the building it replaced?
Chinese Wiki also puts this building on the same site (current building name is 宇宙大廈)
Apollo Theatre
Thanks philk, I have moved the marker to its rightful place. Regards, Peter

Thanks Peter.
Castle Peak Road in Shum Shui Po
Greetings. Traffic on Castle Peak Road was light in the 1950s, before land reclamation at Lai Chi Kok bay/beach and further to the west. This stretch of the road was filled with factories but also had some places not yet developed. One day me and two other kids hiked to Lai Chi Kok amusement park. Three men just off work walked in the same direction and we had a short conversation. When we reached the beach, the men paid for our boat rental. Another piece of gratitude from those old days. Regards, Peter
