Appears that the site was later taken over by the Victoria British School (also known as the Victoria School) , a government operated school.
The Education Report for 1904 mentions there was an urgent need for a school on Hong Kong Island to complement the Kowloon British School that opened in 1902. The formation of such a school had been recommended by the Committee on Education. Sanction was obtained and the existing school on Caroline Hill had to give way for the establishment of the Victoria (British) School.
Mentioned was also made that approval had been obtained to replace the Tang-lung-chau (Vernacular) School with a Lower Grade Anglo-Chinese School. It was necessary to hire accommodation for the Tang-lung-chau School to make room for the Victoria School.
The China Mail dated 17 March 1905 mentions the Victoria School situated near the Cotton Mills at East Point would be opened on 20 March.
The school closed at the end of 1931. Hong Kong Daily Press dated 15 December 1931 refers.
