As indicated here , Cameron Mansions were constructed in 1951.
Demolition started
According to a post on the Chinese-language Facebook page "Empty City", demolition started recently.

I believe the demolition is complete so the end year can be set to 2024. I wonder if they will bother digging up the foundations to look for that mythical katana?
