I'm trying to find out more about the Hewitt family, who, in 1938 lived at 18 Broadwood Road next to no. 19, the house of my uncle, Leslie Warren. Mr Hewitt appears in two photos at the Lido, Repulse Bay that I've posted at
and
He doesn't seem to be Bill Hewitt, the police sergeant, who was interned in Stanley, nor William Hewitt, whose address is given as 114 The Peak in the 1938 jurors' list. We also have a photo of his daughter, Shirley Anne Hewitt, who was evacuated to Australia before the war. Would be glad to hear from anyone who knew the Hewitts.
