Location is a guess.

Barbara Anslow:

The Asia Company was in Des Voeux Road, before Central Market & big Chinese shops like Wing On, The Sun Company.   Pre-war it was simply a grocer's etc. shop.

Many European families, like us, used to give them an order every day, in a 'compradore' little book they supplied.  You wrote in your order for the next day when today's goods were delivered.   You could also telephone orders to them.

Just after the surrender [in 1945], they made room for a few tables and chairs and became a thriving restaurant.
