Rainy.

Outside roll call.  We had Mum excused (health).

Heard that majority of Rosary Hill inmates have gone to Macao.

Canteen for 4 ozs. wong tong each and 1 oz. egg yolk.

We played Baileys in evening and only lost by 6.  Walked round later with Gladys, Irma, Peggy and Olive.

Newspaper says Churchill has resigned because of words with Atlee, but King apparently asked him to form a Govt. of his own which he has done. Difference of opinion was because Atlee wanted elections and Churchill thought it was a bad time for elections.

Parcel rumours again!
