Hi there,
I have been there back in the 1980's, before the Nuke Farm in Daya Bay was commissioned. The tour back then included going to the boundary of Daya Bay to take a look at the Nuke Site from afar.
Don't know how was the area developed now but based on Google Earth with photos a few years old, it appeared the walled city is in good condition.
Best Regards,

This town has been…
This town has been revitalised into a tourist site, with people still living in some of the houses. Many tours go there. There are quite some hostels and shops. From the photos of my friends, I believe even the night view is attractive, though I've only been there during daytime.
There are both easy and tough hiking trails trails in the hills behind the town.
