Timeline:

  • 1940: Constructed.  (WO 106/2380).
  • 1941: Armament: 2 x 4.5" HAA guns in partially enclosed turrets.  (WO 106/2379). (Japanese photograph).
  • 1941: In action, shot down a float plane 13th December. Shelled, with casualties, 21st December. Destroyed by crews at surrender 25th December.  (WO 172/1687).
  • 1945: No guns remain.  (WO 78/750A).
  • 1975: Gun pits and buildings remained until the redevelopment of Wah Fu Estate.  (HK Lands Dept. Maps and Aerial Photographs).
  • 2014: Site of a commercial centre.
