  • 1890: Construction completed September. Actual cost £19,629. (WO 78/3987).
  • 1890: Initial armament: 2 x 10” BL guns, 2 x 6” BL guns, 1 x 6 pdr QF gun. (WO 78/3987).
  • 1894: 2 x 10” BL guns, 2 x 6” BL guns, 1 x 6 pdr QF gun. 1 x 6 pdr QF gun to be removed. (CAB 11/57).
  • 1897: 2 x 10” BL guns, 2 x 6” BL guns. (CAB 11/57).

  • 1907: Revision of the whole of this Bty to take 5 x 6” BL Mk VII guns. Estimated cost £6,500.Work on emplacing the two flank guns was proceeded with immediately. The provision of No. 3 emplacement was commenced in 1908 and completed later that year. The provision of the remaining two guns was not considered advisable until three of the 9.2” guns at Mt Davis were mounted. Work on these two guns was not commenced until July 1911. (WO 78/5343).
  • 1910: 2 x 10” BL guns mounted, not approved, 3 x 6” BL guns approved, not yet mounted. (CAB 11/57).
  • 1911: 3 x 6” BL guns, 2 x 6” BL guns to be added. (CAB 11/58). 
  • 1912: Construction completed in February. Actual cost £3,886. Armament 5 x 6” BL Mk VII guns. (WO 78/5343).
  • 1917: 5 x 6” BL guns. (CAB 11/58).
  • 1921: 5 x 6” BL guns. (WO 78/5354).
  • 1936: 5 x 6” BL guns. (ADM 116/3490).
  • 1937: Recommended removal of 2 x 6” BL guns to establish Collinson Bty. (WO 106/111).
  • 1939: 3 x 6” BL guns. (WO 106/2379).
  • 1941: In action 8 – 10 December, against land targets in NT. Damaged by artillery and bombing. Destroyed by crews during the withdrawal 11th December. (CAB 106/81).
  • 1945: No guns remain, buildings damaged. (WO 196/10).
  • 2014: In restricted area, condition unknown.
