Hi there,

I have edited the tag from battery to Chinese Battery for this location as this battery was built before British occupation so it would not be confused with Rob's list.  There is yet another such ruin, also in Lantau Island, in Fan Lau.  I will try to mark it up later.

@h9430500, the comment above looks to be mixing up two different sites: 

  1. this page which shows the 1817 Tung Chung Battery near the water's edge, and
  2. https://gwulo.com/node/2381 showing the 1832 Tung Chung Fort which is now some distance inland, and is where the cannon are located.

Is there any chance you used AI to generate the text for that comment? That could explain the style and the mistake.
