There are some Chinese article mentioning the Sai Ying Pun Post Office was first established on Water Street, close to Pokfulam Road. But there doesn't seem to have any mention in HKP's website.

The first Sai Ying Pun Post Office was established on this site (see https://gwulo.com/node/62401), but the post office temporarily moved to Water Street (see https://gwulo.com/node/62315) while the old building was demolished and this current building was built.
