Places to see along Route 13, from the book 'A Travel of Hong Kong Mainland Defence Ruins (World War II)'.
If you want to add a new Place to the map for this Route, use the 'Create content / Place' link at the bottom of the menu on your left to create the Place, and remember to add the tag 'R13-HKMDR' so that it shows up on the map.
Places along Route 13
Here are the places along this route that have been created so far. For more information about a place, either click its name in the list, or click its red marker on the map. Your are welcome to add another place - just remember to give it the tag R13-HKMDR so that it shows up on the list and map below.
The map below is 'live': you can drag it around with your mouse, click the +/- buttons to zoom in and out, and click the Map/ Satellite/ Hybrid buttons to change the appearance of the map.
Grand Job
MrB / Philk, Well done boys your doing a great job.
I'll try and add 29 & 30 (Clear Water Bay& Ma On Shan)
Not quite sure how to add the map onto the page? I've already made the start and finish points in the Places but unsure how to add that map onto my text?
re: Grand Job
leave the map to the experts - that's what I do. Actually, I'm not sure we have a choice?
Questiuon is, when are you going to start walking them?
re: Grand Job
Craig, once I see you add the forum post for the new route, I'll cut & paste in the comment that shows the map. It doesn't take long to do, but is a bit fiddly - so at this point it is easier for me to just do it than explain it.
