[Bug] "Edit" tab disappears

Sometimes I cannot edit one of my posts, so Three bridges view | Gwulo. Only "View", "Zoom", "What links here" appear. When I press "Zoom", the "Edit" button appears and works. When I press "View" again, "Edit" disappears. 

Most other posts can be edited without any problems.

I was able to see the problem, so it definitely exists. I reset the software and the problem has gone - but I expect it will be back again. 

Next time this happens, please leave a comment with a link to the problem page, and also let me know if you'd just saved the page before you saw the problem.

The bug appeared again.  The "Edit" now appears only when pressing "What links here" for Three bridges view | Gwulo. 

For 1900s TST Chatham Road | Gwulo "Edit" is missing and appears after the pressing of "Zoom". 

It works satisfactorily for e.g.  Street scene; shop of "Pun Lun, Photographer" in foreground | Gwulo or AL-135 Highfill Album Image | Gwulo (both older posts), but also for a recent one Happy Valley Racecourse stands 1880s | Gwulo.

All posts were opened without any prior activities (e.g. no saving of the page).

Thanks Klaus, I can see the bug again, but I'm still not sure what is causing it.

If the "Edit" is missing and cannot be seen from either "View" or "What links here", a workaround is to add "/edit" to the end of the url, which will take you to the edit page.

So for the "Three bridges view" photo, which has url https://gwulo.com/media/51095, you'd browse to https://gwulo.com/media/51095/edit 

I'll comment again here if I make any progress.

David, I think we can leave it as is. So far, I have been able to go to Edit with an extra click, which takes less than a second. It seems not to be easy to get rid of this bug, and no one else reported it. I can live with it. Thank you again for trying.

Hi Klaus, thanks for living with the workaround for now. I can see it is happening for other users too, even though it hasn't been reported yet, so I'll keep looking for an explanation and fix.

Klaus, the Edit tab is showing again on all the problem pages you mentioned earlier so I've marked this as fixed. 

BUT ... I haven't fixed anything that would clearly cause this problem, so I'm hoping it was a side-effect of some of the other problems I've fixed. If you see it again, please leave a comment here with a link to the page(s) to let me know.
