Does anyone know when this was demolished, and whether or not the arch has been rebuilt elsewhere?
It was still standing in 2007 when I took the photo below, but when I went back in June 2024 the arch was gone.
I think I've read that this stone arch was very old, that it dated back to the early days of the naval hospital on this site, when this was an entrance on the shoreline. This was where sick sailors could be delivered from their ships to the hospital for treatment.
I was talking to a doctor recently and mentioned how the old entrance was gone. He wasn't surprised, saying that the old steps often caused accidents for elderly patients who were visiting the Ruttonjee Hospital. So it is good that the old steps have been replaced with a safer entrance, but it will be even better if the old arch has been preserved to be rebuilt at a new site.

Sorry to see that it has gone, but thanks for the link. The SCMP article was written in 2017, so I'll set the demolition date to the beginning of that year.
