One of the oldest dispensaries in Hong Kong.
Appeared first in the 1868 volume of the THE CHRONICLE & DIRECTORY for 1868, in previous ones not listed.
The first owner was George Glasse, the address is given as Pedder's Wharf.
Later the dispensary owner became W. Cruickshank, the address was still Pedder's Wharf, but in 1887 it changed to 32 Queen's Road. I'm not sure if the address really changed as 32 Queen's Road is at the end of Pedder's Wharf.
The dispensary closed on the 15 June 1919, all stocks were taken over by the Hongkong Dispensary.

Old Hong Kong dispensaries
Good work Klaus! Have you come across any information on The Queen's Dispensary, by any chance?
Re: The Queen's Dispensary
Jeff, didn't find any entry in the 19th century editions of the chronicle. Just tried the 1920 edition, there The Queen's Dispensary is listed in the St. George's Building. You might try to find more entries in other volumes which you find here.
How interesting!
