Was the Number 1 Tank a water cistern? Also, did it get directly replaced by the current Breezy Court in 1960, or was there something built there in between?
On the 1920s map there is a large building on the site. Its not clear exactly when N0 1 tank was demolished but it stops appearing on maps around 1900.
Both N0 1 & No 2 tanks originally collected stream runoff from the peak. They were then connected to the Pokfulam conduit in 1877. There is more information on the page for the No 2 tank here
