2022 Gwulo meet-up lunch 22 Nov

We will meet at  12:00 noon at the American club in Central, Exchange Square 2, as usual. Come enjoy the view from the 49th floor. Let me know if you’re available

Bring something for Show-and-tell.

Vegetarian options, but not necessarily Vegan. Please email David for a copy of the menu. There is also a set 2 course Lunch menu for $150.

We'll meet Annelise in the lift lobby at 12 noon, then head up to the American Club together. (Take the escalator up to the Rotunda level, then walk over towards the lifts for Exchange Square 2, and we'll be waiting there.)

I'll bring along an interesting wartime document I received recently.

I have already asked David to pass on my regards to the Gwulo family members who will be meeting for lunch on Tuesday, but as I believe that you are the organiser of such events I'd like to say how much I, one of perhaps quite a few 'Gwuloists' in England appreciate being able to follow and contribute to David's Hong Kong memory bank.  It is quite a unique body of knowledge that he has enabled and, if I were with you, I'd propose a toast to him and to Gwulo's long term survival!  Andrew

You (anyone really) can host one.  Just contact David to suggest dates, pick a restaurant or cafe (or bar) and invite us by posting here.  We each pay for ourselves.  It doesn’t have to be lunch, or in Central.
