BAAG Agent No. 37 LEUNG Kwok-tok was sent to contact Prof. Robertson to help his escape from Japanese Occupied Hong Kong. However, by the time 37 went to HKU, Prof. Robertson had died.
Agent 37 of I Group (the Independently-handled Agents) also contacted the bankers & doctors as well as BAAG agents in Macao & surrounding areas planning escape routes during the early days in 1942. He was also involved with planning the mass escape of Stanley Internees using junks of smugglers. He left the service of BAAG in late 1942.
In 2013, I discovered one person of the same name and similar professional background in Pathology still living in Hong Kong at the age of 101. He was able to recall serving in the US Army in Kweilin during the War but alas not the BAAG.
