“WEDDING AT ST. ANDREW’S
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Mr. H.W. Brown And Miss C.U. Mitchell
Yesterday morning, at eight o’clock, Miss Constance Una Mitchell was married to Mr. Harold Wilson Brown by the Rev. J.R. Higgs, in St. Andrew’s Church.
The bride, only daughter of the late Capt. R.F. Mitchell and Mrs. Mitchell, was escorted to the altar by Capt. William C. Bird. Her informal wedding gown was fashioned of old rose crepe, having white accessories.
Mr. Walter J. Brown attended the bridegroom.
The early morning church service was attended by a few intimate friends of the bridal couple.
Practically immediately after the ceremony, the bride and groom departed on the s.s. Changte for a three months’ honeymoon in Australia.”

Sergeant H W Brown died of wounds 17 December 1941
Could he have been the recipient of a card from John Charter in 1943? Would John Charter have known the names of those who died in Argyle Street? (see What Links Here)

Or was there another H W Browne with a different surname spelling?
