“OBITUARY
Royal Naval Dockyard Employee Dies
The funeral of Mr. Frank Tuersley, age 41, was held at the Colonial Cemetery, Happy Valley, yesterday. The Naval Chaplain, Rev. D.V. Edwards, officiated at the graveside.
There was a large attendance at the funeral, while a number of wreaths were also received.
The late Mr. Tuersley, who was employed in the clerical branch of the Naval Dockyard, died at the Royal Naval Hospital on Saturday after a short illness.
Among those present at the funeral were Comdr. E.V. Lees, R.N., representing the Commodore, Mr. A. Warburton, representing the Royal Naval Dockyard Recreation Club, and Mr. E.A. Atkins, representing the Civil Service Clerical Association, and representatives of the various Dockyard Departments.
Mr. Tuersley only arrived in the Colony on April 26 this year.
