Memories of E. J. R. Mitchell Upon Arrival in Hong Kong in 1914
His memories of his arrival in Hong Kong in 1914 were recounted in a speech to the Rotary Club on 31 May 1949. He mentions residing at Kingsclere, the first cars in Hong Kong, riding ponies over the hills for golf at Deepwater Bay etc.. Interesting read. Full article here
