Original building of the St. Thomas Primary School.

The school moved to a new campus where the Cheung Sha Wan Factory Estate was located (between Pratas Street and Tonkin Street).

The original school building on Nam Cheong Street now houses the Hong Kong Institute of Technology.

The school was originally opened in 1952 and operated here until circa 2012 when it moved to new premises in Cheung Sha Wan.
Following the relocatio, the foundation stone from the original site was relocated to the new school campus where it is located in a pillar n front of the school office.

The small brass plaque under the main stone details the relocation ceremony in 2012, officiated by Sir David Akers-Jones.
