There was an auction to sell
There was an auction to sell the whole lot of Shaukiwan Marine Lot No.1, also known as Blackhead's Soap Works, at 3pm on Tuesday 15th October 1918. I half wonder if the German company struggled against hostilities to thrive in a British colony during WWI.
