Tai Tam Hill Bty had two 4.5" Howitzers. They were in action from about the 13th Dec as targets came within range on the peninsular. They were ordered to withdraw, after destroying the guns in the early hours of the 19th, but the guns were found abandoned there later in the morning. They were reputably used later by the Japanese to fire on British positions.
