After reading the "... server has been hacked" post, Dave W writes:
Where do we stand?
A lot of people upload photographs to this website.
Does this mean you then claim copyright ownership of them and sell them with the proceeds going into your pocket via PayPal?
Interested and confused.
I do not claim ownership of any content uploaded to the site by other members. If a third-party asks me if they can use a photograph I direct them to this explanation: http://gwulo.com/node/9959 (it needs to be updated for the new website, but the three groups still apply). If they would like to continue, I put the third-party in contact with the person who uploaded the photo to Gwulo.
I also have a collection of photographs I have bought, or have been given as gifts. I've taken several of these and sell prints of them for framing, and license digital copies to companies for their use. You can read more about this by clicking the "Shop" link at the top of any page on Gwulo.

Ownership of Photos
This is correct. Someone asked for permission to use one of my photos and David put him in touch with me.
Re: Ownership of Photos
I echo the same.
