There was a feature in Next Magazine many years ago - I'm thinking 1997 to 2000 - on the executive homes owned by major Hong Kong companies. I am pretty sure an aerial picture of Leonard was shown.
The question is, can anyone find that issue of the magazine?
In the picture, you can see part of Leonard (upper right), part of The Ridge, No. 7 Pollock's Path, Hilden and even part of Fung Shui (middle right of the picture, below the apartment at 1-3 Pollock's Path)
The occupation permit for these two houses was issued in Feb 1978. I think HSBC acquired this site before then and redeveloped the it into executive houses. Hence, I am trying to confirm if the bank also acquired Skyhigh just up the road around the same time.
Prior to the 1990s, I cannot find any mention of these two houses in directories.
4-6 Pollock's Path were 2 houses owned by HSBC in the mid 1980's. The Deputy Chairman of HSBC (Sir William Purves) lived at number 6 until he became Chairman of HSBC, at which point he moved to Sky High (Previously occupied by Sir Michael Sandberg). Number 6 was subsequently occupied by HSBC General Manager International, RW Campbell until his retirement from the Bank in 1988. Don't know what happened after 1988 - although the site seems to have been sold by the Bank and re-developed since then.

4-6 Pollock's Path
I believe these two houses are still owned by HSBC and its top executives live there.
First house on RBL 1
I would live there. They are the site of the very first house on RBL 1 on the Peak.
