The number of performers and animals involved in this travelling circus makes one wonder where and how they were accommodated and how were they shipped to and from Hong Kong. Presumably there were no animal quarantine regulations at the time.

10 dromedaries
The logistics must have been enormous.
Interestingly, I don’t think any photographs of these travelling circuses of which there were many visiting Hong Kong according to old newsprint, have ever been posted.

Travelling Circus
IDJ , I share your wonders about how such a large circus managed to come to Hong Kong during the 1930's. Can you tell us the source of this advertisement? ( I could imagine animals must have been dying in ship's holds in the tropical heat)
There must surely have also been reports in the local press about this ?
Isako Circus
The Isako Circus made quite a number of trips to Hong Kong. Quickly gleaning through the newspapers of the day, it appears the circus had a grand opening on 16 December 1926. Last visit made was in 1940.
