Nathan Road somewhere?
Greetings. A guess if the timing does not contradict - The word-ads on the walls might be a right clue. They look like backlanes to me and their business were on the opposite side.
https://gwulo.com/node/43197#11/22.2971/114.1823/Map_by_ESRI-Markers/100 - this page talks about extending Nathan Road which led to removal of some of the buildings thus exposing the rear of the shops the next street west of Nathan/Robinson Road. I have a vague memory of these signs from my Nathan Road bus and if true mine would be 1950-51 to school. Regards, Peter
