Lyemun camp 1952.

Most of the buildings are still there.  From top right there was the N.A.A.F.I. building, then the  imposing Victorian barrack block, then the R.A.F. Sergeants' Mess, then the block where Ewart was billeted and then the parade square with the guardroom and Station Headquarters building behind it.  The camp church, now a sports hall, is just off to the middle off right, and right of the sports field was the Mess, now a cafeteria.
