The government had a programme of building small bungalows to re-house peole who were being moved out of the shacks that at one time covered the hillside below the Tai Tam road. This photograph was taken fairly close to the road that led down to the bottom of the bay.The original farming and fishing communityof Chai Wan lived around the wooded hill to the centre right of this photogaph. R.A.F. Little Sai Wan is at the top left and the Cape Collinson road circles the hillside. (Andrew S)
