Photo which my grandmother M.G. Marks-Groot had sent back to family in the Netherlands. On the back she had written (in Dutch): "Tregunter Mansions 2 May Road. Mr. and Mrs. De kant and Piet in the living room. In the background the bookcase. Hongkong, November 1925". Piet is my gransfather Pieter Marks, the others are Pieter Julius de Kant (like my granddad employed by the Hong Kong Agency of the Nederlandsch-Indische Handelsbank) and his wife Kitty Rachel de Kant-Ricardo.
