Big Wave Bay b March1959.

Apart from Paddy, it looks as though the bay was deserted that day.  None of the personnel who had been in Hong Kong through the summer or autumn would have dreamed of swimming after about November, but for those of us who arrived in October or November, the sea was still amazing warm compared with the seas around the U.K. - even at the height of the U.K.s summer!
