Of several hiking routes between Kowloon Tong and Shatin, this was perhaps the most direct during my time in Kowloon. This view of the peak is how I remember from my adventures in the 1950s. According to the photo source, this photo was taken in the 1900s in black and white. Amazingly clear, and the technology!
And those Japanese sandals, they were tough and durable for the trip, both walking up steep path and running downhill towards Amah Rock.
