Found these images here. They were shot by an American soldier on leave during the Vietnam war in 1969, most likely between October to December 1969.
Maybe from Hennessy Road/ corner???. Mount Cameron with houses is visible, and also the bridge of Bowen Road.

Hi there,
This should be the corner of Fenwick & Hennessy. The building in the foreground with custom tailor signage and the building in the right hand side still exist. The present day skyline would have been block by new high rises.
