Hello everyone,

This is the Italian Beach or Pak Cho Wan. At the southwest end of the Cheung Chau island.

Not a very nice beach to swim because of the scattering rocks and the shelly sea creatures below the water, posing high risk to hurt the feet of the swimmers. Yet still was a favourite spot to many teenagers and highschoolers. A real quiet resort... but bring your umbrella... it helps a lot. A faourite choice for BBQ and beach party location.

The water there was very clear and calm as compared to Nam Tam Wan.

Over here the airplanes  enter the CC NDB airway during the operation era of the Radar Station at House #30.

Why it was named as the Italian Beach? Maybe giving a sort of comfort to the Missionaries who came from Italy.

What's your idea?
