Charity bazaar

A final picture of Veronica Walker with her mother, Doris Walker, Douglas's grandmother and great-grandmother. The note on the back from Veronica to Diana Warren, who was her helper, reads "Here we are at the BAZAAR". A second note added by Diana explains: "Bazaar which Veronica Walker operated." A further photo showing the rest of the table reveals a great number of dolls. A Gwulo contributor has just sent me an article reporting the charity bazaar, which was in aid of "Ministering to Children" and held at 4 Broadwood Road, home of the Walkers. The date of the bazaar was 24 June 1938.
