British Army Camp at Sek Kong 1950

This is what Sek Kong looked like in 1950 when I was there as a young British soldier..we lived in tents as you can see...No brick or stone buildings...No electricity..only parrafin lamps..no mains water...only big tanks that were filled weekly...and nobody owned motor cars....or bicycles....Can anyone else remember those days?

Our duty was to guard the border between Kowloon and mainland China against a possible invasion by the Chinese army.
