Waglan Island the lighthouse, situated approaching five kilometres from and to the south of Cape D'Aguilar, and nearly 13 kilometres from Lei Yue Mun, Waglan was the most isolated lighthouse in the Territory (Lee HC HK Marine Department). Cast iron tower 52 ft high and 17 ft dia. at the base and 12ft inches at the top in the shape of a cone. Lower room was used as a store and the upper for the services, declared a monument in 2000.
