According to a news report on 6-24-1950, groundbreaking for this church building was on that day with the deputy governor in attendance. It was the second chinese methodist church built in Hong Kong since the first one built in 1936 at Fenwick street wanchai. So the picture can't be earlier than 1950. Next to the church is a primary school. It goes without saying the school kids had to attend worship assembly every morning:)
