Alice Y Lan was a Protestant missionary who came to Hong Kong in 1934. She worked for the Bethel Mission, which had been founded in Shanghai in 1920.
She left occupied Hong Kong on August 31, 1942. She later wrote a book about her experiences: Alice Y Lan and Betty M Hu, We Flee From Hong Kong, 1944.
