The busses captured were CMB Route 5B back then. After the government re-structured the traffic flow around the area the terminus was removed to Whitfield road, on the other side of the Victoria Park.
Beneath the BIG umbrella was (and still is) a free standing newspaper stand.
The mentioned newspaper stand folded sometime in 2024 or 2025. Couldn't recall exectly when. The stand was still there but all locke up early in 2025. It disappeared early in 2026 altogether. Looks like the decendant of the owner had not renew the license.
