I worked in Hong Kong from September 1983 (arrived just before Typhoon Ellen) until January 1987. I came across Walter Gerrard in the Bull and Bear pub but I didn’t know him. I met Derek Currie in the Chung Hom Kok club when he and Martell sponsored our Stanley Dragon Boat team. I got to know John McGunnigle when he ran Traps Bar and I knew Colm McFeely from the Bull and Bear Pub sometime between 1987 to 1990 (I re-visited HK a few times during this latter period). Good memories.
