The Regent Hotel opend in 1980. It is located on 18 Salisbury Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, on the former site of Holt's Wharf.
In 2001 the hotel was sold to the InterContinental group and renamed to InterContinental Hong Kong.

Philip Cracknell has found a mention in a wartime diary that places it opposite the Ritz in North Point, so it should be somewhere near here.
He also notes that during the Japanese invasion, "The hotel received several direct hits and was burnt down".
This hotel was one of the places used to hold internees before they were moved to Stanley Camp in Jan 1942.
