Annelise, thanks for finding this SCMP review of the Swedish Rhapsody performance as part of the Rotary Festival in 1955. I had forgotten that this was part of the Rotary Festival and was held at the Empire Theater. This also explains the design and colors of the costumes worn by Joan Campbell and the others in the photo I posted.
I do recall another recital where we danced to the music of Rustle of Spring, dressed as leaves. I can't remember when that took place and if that was part of a different production staged by Miss Bateman, possibly at the Lee Theater in Causeway Bay.
